Policies and projects around Calgary meant to conserve and protect our native pollinators.

The City of Calgary Pollinator Project

At 50 minutes, this youtube video is an indepth analysis of the Calgary Native Bee project, presented by David Misfeldt and Bee City Canada. The project is a collaboration between himself, Jenna Cross and Lincoln Best, and aims to create and maintain patches of wildflowers and native plants for pollinators to feed and nest in.

Operation Pollinator

Focusing on the research and health of pollinators, Syngenta started Operation Pollinator to support initiatives that support pollinators. It’s been expanded to 13 countries, including Canada, and has programs for farms and even golf courses. It also has partnerships with other companies to promote research and education programs.
