Pollinator Week is June 20-26.
There are many events and ways to celebrate and learn more about Calgary’s pollinators!
- On Friday, June 24 from 1-3pm, join us at the UofC’s community garden for guest speakers, community booths, and a bee box/hotel building workshop. Register here.
- On Sunday, June 26, Calgary Park’s will be hosting a pollinator table with educational resources and family-friendly activities at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary from 11am-3pm. Join at 11am and 1pm for UofC’s Wagonstage Theatre’s Bee-trayal, a family friendly play on pollinators!
- UofC’s Wagonstage Theatre will be performing Bee-trayal, a family-friendly play about Calgary’s pollinators, with activities following, throughout the city this summer. See their performance schedule.
- You can help discover, better understand, and conserve pollinators by sharing your photographs of insect pollinators through the Calgary Pollinator Count! Learn more and contribute to our citizen science project.
- Join contests, and learn about events through the Office of Sustainability Instagram.
